With its intimate storytelling and realistic characters, Dreng examines the complicated dynamics of an unconventional relationship and the responsibilities that come with growing up.

Movie Summary
Christian has just graduated from high school and is looking forward to a summer of new experiences. Unlike many of his friends, he stays close to home and takes a summer job helping the caretaker of his apartment building.
His ordinary routine changes when he meets Sanne, a confident and attractive 36-year-old single mother. Despite their significant age difference, Christian quickly becomes fascinated by her, and their initial attraction develops into an intense relationship.
For Christian, the experience opens the door to a new world of intimacy, desire, and emotional discovery. However, being involved with an older woman brings challenges he never expected.
Sanne wants Christian to become more involved in her everyday life, including taking on a father-like role for her young son, Kasper. This places increasing pressure on someone who is only beginning to understand adulthood himself.
At home, Christian’s mother, Birgit, strongly disapproves of the relationship. Caught between his mother’s expectations and his growing attachment to Sanne, Christian must decide what he really wants and whether he is ready for the responsibilities that come with his choices.
